Quick, clean out the shed. I'll be down to pick up the Blitz and load it up shortly.
Simon
I spoke to him last night, he was happily dosed up on drugs and said he felt pretty good with only a bit of pain. I didn't tell him that once they take the magic button away it will be a little different.Going down later to stay near there for a couple of days.
Hey! I'm not that dumbI know about the spare P38. The so called "spares" for this one are quietly accumulating in the shed. Other than a body shell I'm pretty sure there is a nearly complete car in boxes in the shed!
So-the recommendation is for a garage sale this Sunday?? I have offered many times to help him clear out the shed but he seems to get very touchy about his junk.
Thanks for the welcome too, I should have gone to the intro thread but I have met quite a few of you. Perhaps i should offer you all the same deal as Scouse-I give him $10 and he takes Ron 4WD'ing for the day to get him out of my hair.Ant other takers?
Hey! I'm a Brit.
Know Ron more from rangerover.net than here but feel he's a friend.
Very best of luck because he's one of the best.![]()
Get well soon Ron...this is one helluva way to avoid the polling booths on Saturday![]()

Been a bit delinquent in not following this thread earlier, but please assure Ron that I am thinking of him. And thank you for keeping us up to date on his status.

He keeps on giving me $20 to bring him home again though.
I've just spoken to Ron & he's doing very well.
He was up & had a shower last night so the drugs can't be that good- or maybe it was the sexy nurse that encouraged him to have a shower; surely Ron wouldn't fall for that though
.
He'll be in hospital for a few days yet so if you want to call into Ward 3 in the Macquarie University Hospital, he'll be glad to see you (probably only because all his usual internet sites are blocked though).

Oh, he passes on thanks to all for all your good wishes but it sounded like the drugs talking, not Ron.

G'day Bucko's Ma
Thank you for the update Elisabethand wish him well, and yes, he will probably miss the little "Magic Button" just don't let him get out in that shed to quick and do damage to himself
cheers
