On the 2nd last day that we were in Sweden we went on a drive to look at some castles and countryside.
It was one of the highlights of Sweden and in a way it was a shame we left it right until the end to do it.

They were all quite cool, I think we saw 4 castles. This one reminds me of King Arthur.

This castle was built by a Danish person as a fortress(back then Denmark owned the south of Sweden) the walls were 5ft thick and it had a moat. It never got tested though.

we ended up going from the west coast to the east coast and back again in a days drive with lots of stops.
The last stop was right on the east coast to see a similar thing to Stonehenge.
This is the coast just before the sun set.

Unfortunately I only have sunset photos but it was really cool.

This ray of sunlight was shining down the whole time we were there, it is like nothing I have ever seen before, but I was at a place that I have never been before so I guess it kind of makes sense then

We pulled the whole inside out of the hilux to clean it as there was lots of soot and grease marks on the rood and seats. I wish i had a before and after photo because it turned up spectacular. There were about a dozen grease marks on the roof that we got off using degreaser.
But I do have photos of my dog :)

the next trip we did was just to tamworth and around and back again.
I had not been to burning mountain since i was a little kid but had always remembered what it was like, so I thought we would stop and check it out and well not so burning anymore.
But we did see some kangaroos and had a nice walk around there.
