    Nice shed.

For those who don't know the shed was invented by a gentleman called Cyril Northcote Parkinson. He was also responsible for first identifying the syndrome called "shed envy" whereby everyone else's shed always seems larger than yours.

The shed will be 9 x 6 metres with a 6 x 3 learn to for the van and a carport off the front 6 x 3 metre but will eventually go right across the front.
All sheds are too small but the bigger they are the more junk you collect.

    Looking good.

I built an 8x7 timber framed shed myself. I am surprised you don't need a double top plate. The company which supplied my roof trusses reccommended I use one.

The only thing I don't like about timber framed sheds is it is hard to build them high enough to fit a hoist in.

No windows or skylights, spiders build webs around them and when spray painting they deposit little black specks over the nice new wet paint.

Had the afternoon on it but not much to show, finished nailing all the bracing straps etc, row of noggings along the back wall and sat a laminated beam on top of the RHS wall. More pics later in the week
