Coming to Australia - advice needed

    Hi there,
don't know if this is the right place to post but here goes.

In a few months time I'll be shipping my LR 110 "Bluey" to Perth for a few months travel round Oz before me, my wife and daughter settle down somewhere in Oz. I would love to include some of Len Beadell's roads in our trip, bearing this in mind what spares should I carry on board?

So far I'm going to carry:-
    oil filter
    air filter
    fuel filter
1 set bearings for front and rear axles
    UJs for props
    water pump
    set of coolant hoses
    throttle cable

I'm carrying 5 litres of engine oil, ATF and EP90 and a bottle of brake fluid. I've got a tool kit, spare nuts and bolts, electrical spares, tyrepliers and puncture repair kit and air compressor.

    What else would you recommend?

Tube of window sealant silicone with trigger gun to dispense. Use to make gaskets and can also seal fluid leaks.

A UHF radio at very least, sat phone or epirb better.
Shovel, lots of water and fuel.

Beers for sharing when you get bogged and spin a good yarn around the camp fire.
Oh and research average temperatures depending on what time of year etc.
Even in summer, the desert can be cold and especially hot.50 degree plus in the sun.

Have a great trip, meet the locals and enjoy what we have to offer which is oodles.

I'd say this is something like a two part epoxy to plug things up with, if not look up liquid metal or some other epoxy/metal like substance that can be used to plug up holes etc. Goes hard enough to be able to tap and thread, can be used to plug a holed radiator or other metal part to hold in critical liquids.
