I had a "pistol" aimed at us by a retard one night in Richmond Vic .Whilst I was driving one night. The retard let off a shot in our direction. I didn't see him do it , but Lucky my partner who saw it didn't get his revolver out fast enough or this Retard with a starter's pistol wouldn't be here today. As usual the beak let these retards off with good behavior bonds. His mouth piece told the court how he was a good lad and did meals on wheelas etc etc
The same retard was again arrested 2 weeks later carry nun-chuckers down the shopping strip flicking them as passerbys.

Starter pistols in the dark by the way when fired and pointed at you in the dark are hard to distinguish from a real gun.

thats pretty full on stuff, real gun or not, its still aggravated armed robbery, and being a plastic gun doesnt lessen his gaol term either.

    Hope they find him.

As for me: I was deemed by the authorities to have committed a heinous misdemeanour by not giving the offender my money.
Tell 'em to get stuffed. I wouldn't fill out a lunch order for these 'authorities'.

I was the victim of an attempted armed hold up by a teenage male a couple of years ago. Being somewhat familiar with weapons I determined that the handgun being brandished at me was a replica and indeed the way the young fella was waving it about and his lack of control of the weapon I recon if it was real (which again I was sure it was not) the person in greatest danger was the offender himself.

Long story short, I called his bluff and after many heated words he decamped without any money. I immediately called police as I feared he would try this stunt on someone else.

Eventually the offender was caught, slap on the wrist and family counselling!

As for me: I was deemed by the authorities to have committed a heinous misdemeanour by not giving the offender my money. I spent more time filling out reports, justifying my actions and defending myself. The offender was entitled to free legal aid yet as the victim I was not!

The reason we have so many offences like this is too many criminals know most people will just give the money over per company SOP's.

Please do not give me the "no amount of money is worth a life" rhetoric. Had the weapon been genuine and depending on opportunity there could well have been a death and that most likely would not have been me. Then I would certainly have become a criminal in the eyes of our civilised society.
(At least then I would have been entitled to free legal aid)

We have only ourselves to blame for the society we allow to descend into chaos.
Gotta love the justice system in this country. We work our arse off to put repeat offenders before the court to get them off the streets and the courts just give them chance after chance after chance. Yet the genuine victims get treated worse, as with you.

They bring in all these laws re domestic violence making us apply for an AVO when ever we suspect domestic violence has occured (because a piece of paper will protect a person from a crazed ex partner). Then they breach the AVO, we arrest and charge and the court lets them off. Why have the AVO in the first place.

Sorry, got a bit off track
