				That might be the case, but I doubt very much. Perhaps they need be a lot more competitive in their pricing and then people wouldn't import themselves. When you consider that we are paying one off freighting by air which is expensive as opposed to shipping by the container the balance swings to them being able to do it cheaper. But they also pay GST/stamp or whatever which probably brings it back to being on par.... but they buy in bulk and ....
 
Its like the whole shop local arguement to support the shops in your town, yeah fine and thats all good, but they can stick it if they are marking the prices right up and I can get it cheaper in the next town. Fuel is a brilliant example of this where I live, so with a long range tank I usually fill up either in Sydney or Yetholme and Orange can sell no fuel as opposed to ripping me off. The sellers need to get it right, and if the problem is at the retailer, the wholesaler or the manufacturer is not my problem.
