lrocv.com.au is still there.
I think it's their forum which is not operating, but I believe it will be again in due course.

And what sort of a club are they in comparison to the Range Rover Club? I know both are happy to include all marques but theoretically both provide access to good specialist knowledge of Range and Land Rovers in particular. Are they both family oriented and into the same sort of activities?
Basically I find it interesting that they can both exist with what seems to be a pretty common member base.
Cheers
So there are enough trips being run? I was a member of the LROCV about 7-10 years ago and stopped as there werent many trips being run and enough mates had 4wds to organise our own trips. These days its hard finding trips with mates and even a little bit that way on here, if there is enough trips being run I may have to join again.
Range Rover club of Vic also has an open day this Sunday. Details on there website and Facebook.
I've been meaning to join LROCV for a while now, so thought I'd go to the meeting tonight...but there was nobody there! It's advertised on their website as being held the first Thursday of every month at 8pm at the Manningham function centre on Doncaster road...which is where I was. Another bloke was there as well in the same boat as me. We hung around outside and chatted for a bit until we realised there was definitely no meeting anywhere that we could see...
Am I missing something? Are their meetings held somewhere else now? If they are, they should probably update their website
Bugger, I'm at the meeting now, they have changed the venue to the Mulgrave country club (short term to see how this place goes)
I will bring it up!!
Dave
No problem, I'll get back to you on that.
Unfortunately the website is being updated and a different host is being used. Therefore the current website can't be changed, apparently the new website should be up and running next week all going well. So keep an eye out if it hasn't changed then it can't be too far away, keep in mind it's a high priority and they are aware of the issues and apologize.
There may be some weekend trips but you need to be a member first (due to insurance reasons)
You should be able to join up via the website (when it's up and running) and it should have what trips are running.
At this stage I think the meeting next month will be held at the Mulgrave Country Club, cnr Wellington and Jells Rd., Mulgrave.
Everyone is more than welcome to come to the meeting and register as a visitor to check it out before committing. Just show up, meeting starts at 8pm., first Thursday of the month.
I think the new venue for meetings would be excellent, (although I haven't been there yet!), because meals are served there, which enables a more social interaction to be created between members, having a drink/talk etc before the meeting. That was an issue I had with Doncaster, no food etc, just the meeting. For Wifey & I, it's much more "social" to sit around & talk, over a meal, before the meeting commences.
