Hi

I was doing a couple of runs along the Hume Hwy between Yass and Wagga on the weekend and spotted the wreckers at Tumblong. We called in for a break and found a couple of items some of you may be interested in.

2 x series 2 SWB one wagon and one ex-truck cab (cab missing) the SWB wagon had a holden motor in it. They both were pretty rough but the wagon was mostly there.

1 early-mid 80's Range Rover complete

and 1 94 model Discovery V8 auto. (300tdi Series/update model) This car was in pretty good condition for its age and location. It suposedly had a noise in the engine (bottom end) but otherwise was a goer. It still had a current rego label but no plates. It had Ironman suspension - what looked like about a 2 inch lift. It was very clean in the engine bay and reasonable inside 205000km. He wanted $2500. I thought it was probably a good buy and worth saving. If it had been another time/place/circumstance etc I probably would have saved it myself - but its still there!

I took a couple of pics of the series 2's on the phone and will post them up later. I missed the Rangie and Disco. As the series were out the back and hadn't thought of pics til then. we were in a hurry so didn't go back inside for pics of the others.

Just putting the word out as the disco was a very neat vehicle as I said and worth saving. The rangie is defeniately worth saving too.

Thanks

Huw
