Father in Law is ex-wing commander. They are dead & buried Which I think is a pity..... why don't we all chip in & buy one, can't be any more expensive than owning a Land Rover.....lol.

They were a great aircraft, but they are long overdue for retirement.
They were developed and first flew when the Series 11A was a new car, the Rolling Stones started, and the Owen gun was still in service 
Looking forward to seeing them do the fly over on Friday though.
