    Its almost as boring as reading the same thing...'tyres let the vehicle down'...that is the prime/only reason it doesn't win every award for its class.

    Yep - but if the writers keep saying it maybe LR will listen (or at least listen with the new Deefer based on the LR3 platorm) to good advice...especially for those of us who like to take our trucks to deep soft sand and tow through it.

    Non land rover bias aside the D4 is a better vehicle. More economical, more comfortable, more included for you dollar. I'd rather have a mid spec D4 SE turbo diesel as opposed to a base model 200 series diesel for the same money.
