    lost iPhone

I'm delighted, my wife has lost her new (still 20 months left on contract) iPhone4. Does anyone know if there is any way of tracking it to see who might have it or where it might be.
    thanking you

if she has installed the free find my iphone app available from me.com you can find it in short order.

there are also free sties that you can register the imei on and have it tracked (or used to be able too).

Apple have an awesome free feature called Find My iPhone, only problem is that you have to turn it on before you loose your phone. So unless you've got it on already it's not going help...apart from that I don't know of anything except calling the phone's number.

Unless your phone company can track the phone - but I doubt they'd be able to do that with out some sort of authorisation.

Hope you're able to find it!

When I lost my phone I rang it up and the finder answered and kindly left it in his letter box. When my mate lost his in a paddock he borrowed mine and rang his repeatedly until he heard its little beeping. Hope it is turned on. You can log on to your phone account and see whereabouts it was last used. If the calls aren't yours then you know its stolen.

Find my phone now installed on my iPhone. No such luck on lost phone though. From the beginning phoning it went straight to message bank, looks like I'm in for a new phone. It will be a cheapie this time.

This is true ,But sometimes iTunes can take a while to get back to you But it is worth a try & everyone with an iphone should register when first conecting to itunes ...

The iphone 4 i brought is with it rightfull owner now as he was a friend of micaylay,s (daughters) & he gave me the money i had paid out for it & the culprit is locked up & still there as far as i know ...

    But again it LOL
