A mate has 2000 acres of assorted grains on black soil near Dalby. They are measuring by the Elephant's Eye (African) scale but are now afraid they won't get any of it off before it is ruined by the big wet. You can't even walk on the soil at the moment, let alone get machinery out on it. Be probably two weeks of dry weather before they can get it off.

Same in a lot of Vic too. Adelaide Plain was ruined by the rain in early Dec. Now its fined up they are reaping now too.
