    Great thread and my imagination is running away with ideas.

    First and foremost, what a great model railway layout I could have set up in one of those and if I ever need to move, no cutting up and reassembling, just lift and move.

    Keep the info coming, I’m hooked ( don’t know about the wife though! )

    Yes, thanks everyone. That FNQ research facility is just about exactly the bees Knees, with some external cladding with an air gap to insulate from the elements down here, I can see something as simple as that for us

    Councils can be a problem though, have to read up first me thinks...

    It is an issue in Darwin and the rural area. You would have to ask where you are Justin.

    Thats the problem, it may well be in an area that would be a no go. we are currently looking at a small block in a burgeoning area, and i can just imagine the response....

    I did work for an architect in Melbourne a few years ago. He was a complete nob, but he has designed this which I always thought was pretty cool
