I worked 6 hours OT last night for new years to patrol the pubs and I was surprised to hear people calling in noise complaints for barking dogs at exactly the same time as the Council was running the fireworks display in the park. What do they expect us to do? Shoot all the dogs in town? Some people really have nothing better to do.

I think this may be a requirement now.All pups by a certain age must be micro chipped,& all dogs at point of sale. This came in around middle of 2009.

Someone may chime in with exact rules

Interesting ,Lotza,as we picked up a purebred pup, with papers, from breeders in NSW 5 months ago & she wasn't microchipped.

The Beagles were microchiped thats how we found the owners

Most responsible breeders usually do it with the vaccinations before they sell the pup, however it is the owners responsibility to do it before the pup turns 1 year old.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Hodgo, does the border collie need a home? I could give it a new one.
