DOGS
This morning we went out for a couple of hours and came home to find 2 very hungry, shivering beagle cross dogs on the front door steep I have tried everything I can think of to find their owners. It’s obvious that they escaped from their yard at midnight, last night when dozen of locals set off a heap of fire works so I may be stuck with them until mid next week as I don’t want to any harm to come to them.
Not bad for a person that does not own a dog but at the moment I have 4 of them and not one of them is mine One is a Rottweiler cross My grandson’s that we are looking after while he away the other is Piper the Boarder Collie That we have been dog sitting for the past month.
I am luckey that they all get along togeather with out fighting

We have 4 of our own Pugs and for the Christmas break the twin of our youngest boy has returned while his owners are away. (Better than a boarding kennel) he has been good, initially trying to mount his mother but has settled now, however the fireworks last night upset him quite a lot. I would have had complaints from the neighbours, had not the back yard fireworks in our street drowned out his barking (8.15pm - 1.30am when the fireworks stopped)
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
A phone call to the local pound or vet might be the go.
Normaly the 1st point of call for many looking for their escapies
If you can get the dogs to them they might be micro-chiped, and thus have contact numbers ect..
Note to owners- update your chip details if you are using a mobile number and change it.
Just a dumb question for personal info, are dogs in Queensland required to be micro-chipped like they are in NSW?

We have 4 dogs of our own, stacey had 2 and I had 2, wouldnt normally have that many but had no choice on that one.
Someone must be missing them, I would be going spare if two of our dogs were missing.

They sound like another victim of NYE fireworks, find where the fireworks were let off (local plods) and that could be the area the dogs came from it could be anywhere in a 10klm radius
