Clipsal in owned by Schneider now I think. Any manufacturing they do will probably soon cease.

    .........

I think we got all the other manufacturers last time around the dollar hit parity for more then two days. Lets see if we can help send broke these two factorys that are left in the next month or two.
Got to say, I don't think paperclips are big on internet sales. Plus, judging by the amount I go through cliping together the volumes of photocopies and printouts printed on the paper made from Indonesian rainforest timber in our modern paperless office. I don't think the Maitland paperclip factory will go anytime soon (unless the government give them a grant to expand their business overseas).

buying an ARB product fron AUS or the US on line will not affect where it is manufactured, they are still made in AUS or China (car fridge).

    Maybe,

Clipsal Australia’s vast product range is largely manufactured in Adelaide at Clipsal’s new home at Gepps Cross. The $50m move to Gepps Cross, from Clipsal’s traditional home at Bowden signals a consolidation of the company’s South Australian operation. Regional satellite factories also operate in Strathalbyn and Wingfield, South Australia and Ringwood, Victoria. These factories create employment for over 1,500 people Australia

Much more than just lockers are made by ARB in Melbourne! Their facility employ's something like just under 500 staff.

As a side note has anyone tried buying one of these fridges? They wont ship outside USA, the price doesn't include shipping or local taxes either... Love it or hate it at least the system here means the price advertised is what you pay! (unless of course you want extras etc)
