Caboolture/Kilcoy rd is cut at Stoney Creek Bridge about a metre over, but I think it is also cut east of Woodford I would also advise caution on Morayfield Rd at centenary lakes @Caboolture end, and Bribie Island Rd could get wet,as it is tidal

Just watching the flood appeal, and eddie has announced that Qld Police have advised, that the Bruce Highway south of Gympie is now cut, and that the Highway at Caboolture will be cut shortly.

Probably north of the Bribie turnoff, at King John Creek,(caboolture airport area)or just north at 10 mile creek before the Steve Irwin Way.

    cheers

Creeks everywhere will be up and down with the rainfall. What is open now may be closed in a couple of hours and what is now closed will soon be open.

Its the rivers that are causing the longer term damage and delays.

I live 10mins outside of Rockhampton and havent been able to get into

"town" for over a week now and am not likely to for at least another week or two.

The best advice I can give is if you dont REALLY need to travel then dont. You might make your destination but you may not get home and the way things have been going you will get stuck in some other town whilst your own town gets flooded.

We went shopping sunday morning, returning home four hours later and we couldn't get into our property as the creek was so high
We had to park in our neighbours property and jump the fence to get around the creek. Of course we weren't in the County

Had very heavy rain all day and night

If you have details on current road closures please post here.

We were to go to Gympie and Wondai this weekend and were advised at 9am that the Bruce is cutoff south of Gympie. Added to this both bridges across the Mary at Gympie are under, cutting off the Southside. I have also been advised that the bridge outside Murgon has 4m over it.

Wide Bay Highway also cut here. About 10 kays east of Kilkivan.

Warrego Hwy is cut as of yesterday afternoon at Jondaryan. We drove from the gold coast to Dalby and only got as far as Jondaryan where the copper said he closed it minutes prior. Stayed the night in Toowoomba and got back to Brisbane this afternoon. Looks like we left at the right time.
