Just thought I'd start a thread for people that have flood pics from around there area. These pics are from goodna which is 3 k's from our place. Our place is well away from the water but I did watch a friends roof disappear under the water today.

Gregg, I just hope that you don't have any Jeumont-Schneider track-circuits - THEY BITE when they get wet. d.a.m.h.i.k.t.

Where was that photo taken? It looks like Sherwood Road overpass on the cross-country line.

How many years of drought, and then floods?

We have some flooding over here on the other side of the world, but then other bits still have a drought.

Global warming is a real pain.

My condolences to those who have lost life and property.

These photos are of my minor inconvenience that stopped me from getting home Tuesday afternoon for about 3 hours. It is the bridge over the North Pine River and flats after it that leads into Dayboro.

And one of our two gullies that is normally reasonably dry. We had 415mm between 5pm Monday when I emptied the guage to just after midday Tuesday. Over 350mm of that fell between 5am and midday on Tuesday.

Got a bit wet here in Dayboro too Lots of damage to our block but luckily the house is okay, neighbors weren't so lucky.
Dayboro town got smashed, looks like a battlezone now the water has subsided
My camera got waterlogged so not sure about pics yet but here's a video clip
