High Resolution Imagery of Brisbane Flooding

NearMap will have 2 cm resolution imagery of the Brisbane flooding online on Sunday. See Flood devastation mapped by high-res sky cams for details and a link to the NearMap website.

    Hi,
so no more scoring scalpel lines around major features on 9x9" A14 contact B&W prints, bending back the print to break the coating, sanding the feathered edge and wet gluing the prints together to make a mosaic.
I'm feeling more dinosaur like by the day.
    cheers

Nearmap - Brisbane Flood taken 13 Jan

Neapmaps (similar to Google Earth) has updated their Brisbane photography to include parts of Brisbane flooded on 13 Jan 2011.

Looks like FWD dodged a bullet so our landy parts are safe. Although the photo's are after the peak.

well near maps apparently forgot one mile.... and most of ipswich.

the photos for there must be at least 3 months old as my place still shows the big black trailer being parked around the back

NearMap originally advised that the imagery would not all be processed and posted until Sunday so that could well explain your Ipswich observations. NearMap had two aircraft collecting the imagery. Processing, including seamless integration, of the imagery, is not a trivial job.

    Amazing detail!
    Oil slicks everywhere.
Now if only Nearmap covered Gippsland.
