Well, if they are burning their own Texas oil, or they are burning the oil they have bought in the Middle East, I can't see the problem (maybe I'm wrong).

In these days, some people say that our landies are wasting the resources of the world at our leisure, and should be banned.

    Cheers,
    Carlos

We need to invent a "fat american" powered vehicle. There's an endless source of energy.

Rule 3. If you have any doubt about Rule 2, please refer to Rule 1.

This is a topic that really gets me going I'm afraid
I'm sorry.......I fail to why the anti-Americanism in that review of what is essentially the Lexus equivalent for Nissan? With the massive array of large 4WD's and SUV's driving their way around our cities etc....one could just as easily say

    Rule 1: We are Australia
Rule 2: We have the God given right to use and waste the resources of the world at leisure.

Sorry...but those sort of responses really get me going...Im afraid . FFS its a review of a bloody car, it's ugly.....its not alone.....whoopdy dee doo,

    Regards

I remember reading in a 4x4 magazine that it was designed for the mostly Arab nations where they have wide open spaces, lots of money and very cheap fuel.
    Still very ugly though.

Yep, pretty sure someone posted a link to that effect here a while back.

IIRC the scuttlebut was that the current shape will be sold alongside it here for commercial and ute sales.

    Question

The only thing that is more ugly is the Hummer. Or as ugly ?

Hmm... Approx same weight category as a D4 /RRS/RR vogue... but they seem loathe to introduce diesels for the masses in the US...
