    What exactly caused the tyre to explode? What was that blue thing on the ground?

    X5 drivers only RR P38?? I've seen LC, Patrol, Jeep, Pajero, Land Rover and you name it drivers sit there and spin their wheels on the beaches digging themselves deeper and deeper and not stopping until they're well and truly grounded. (never seen a tyre explode though - and don't want to either)

    Hmm, thats the twin turbo model too.

    Owners manual says NOT TO BE TAKEN OFF ROAD.

    Perhaps they should have taken more notice of that.

    Excellent thanks! Although I had my first major warranty claim the other day - I complained that the drivers floor mat was wearing quite quickly, so they replaced it
