    Doing the Big Lap

Well, due to alignment of the stars, I'm looking at heading off around Oz within a few months, for probably a 12 month trip.

Any advice, comments, suggestions, recommendations, jealous comments?

So does this mean you need your tray back/camper tub built sooner...or are you going soft and towing a camper/caravan.

No not jealous because we will be doing the same soon enough ourselves, well in a few years

You could take me along and I could be your "chief washer up" and "spotter"
    Enjoy the trip

No camper/caravan for me - the Oztent and/or swags will do us fine. The canopy is top of the agenda. I'm gonna ditch the tub and go with a tray, whether that means finding one for sale or building one is yet to be confirmed. If anyone spots a tray, please let me know.

Insanely jealous Ranga! I hope to be able to do this one day, but it's a while away yet... I'll have to wait for the kids to leave home first, then I may have the funds

    Have a great trip!

Mate, down near lake eyre south- beaut this time of year.

when I lived at Coober we used to drive to william creek to watch the away cricket games!! (made it more realistic!) and maybe tidier and better liquor licence than the SMQ had!!

Loved the creek at races time too, worked or attended all up until I left andamooka... great race meeting fantastic people...

and when you go to william creek and no events are on its even better, great for a camp and lots to see about the joint... for a change take a spin down the borefield track (turn at Boopeechee) and look at roxby/andamooka and woomera... have lunch or tea at the tuckerbox restaurant... if you get there early enough ask for a 'lucia steak" (not on menu- they may not do it but theyll probably know that I spoke to you!!)

Enjoy (remember also to stay one night at CLAYTON spa! Its worth it.. spa after setting up, spa after tea, spa after breakfast...all good!!

    anyway cheers..
    digger
