I used to like the concept of the 'Bushrangie', but they had too many straight lines on the body which gave them a 'kit car' appearance.
But these look great, I can't believe I haven't heard of them before..................

Mate, did you go direct or have they finally sorted an Aussie distributer.
I spent a few fruitless hours late last year following up leads after I saw an article naming a local supplier.
Rang them, "Wha?! Know nothing, nothing!!"
Rang back KCF, call us in a few weeks, getting it sorted.
Rang back, new contact details, sent messages, rang, never any replies.....
KCF were great, very open and helpful, sent build manuals so I could check with engineers etc.
What's the $$ landed (incl freight, duties, tax etc)?
I calculated ~$15K
Thanks, Dave (and many others I suspect) ; ))
THAT looks like a seriously cool project!
Look forward to seeing some pics as you put it together.
There was some discussion on these a while back...
'Fender body+ Disco chassis= <:^ )))))
The 4x4mart article mentions a TDi disco donor. Can you use a V8 instead? For a vehicle with this wow factor, you need a V8 burble.
Can you get it in a four seater?
Cheers,
Chris
Oh, and for those that can't get the link:
Sahara is a Galv steel body with intergral cage on a D1 body less most of the floor pan. New body uses existing body mounts.
Flip front utilises existing reinforced holes in chassis.
Co-incidentally, I commenced investigating the legallity of the conversion in QLD just last week.
Will post my findings.
cheers, Dave.
AWESOME.
I suppose this means there will be a V8 100" in the market section sometime soon?![]()

I think it will be great but I really cant get my head around that slopping windscreen that spoils it for me it looks out of place.
However Mark when you get it up and running with 35's I will probably change my mind somethings you just have to see in the flesh I think.
Still cant wait to see it done none the less![]()
