It's another five weeks till I get to Lithgow,so Ithink it'll be a little colder by then, maybe I should rent a bed warmer for the week

Just spent the weekend into mountains and came back to Syd to start being cold. Go figure, found some good potential for new exploration though while the missus was getting pampered.

Trains are good. Esp if steam, or 42 class diesels. And lithgows only an hour and a bit away.
Don't worry, I'll wear socks.![]()

This was a week and a half ago around Portland and Sunny corner.
3 Gees - I know there's been a bit of snow around Lithgow of late, but it's not a regular occurance. If you are planning this trip so you can play in the white stuff, then I'd suggest going further south towards Selwyn snowfields where you'd be more likely to come across it.
Other than that it's down here to my way
Cheers
Chris
Hi Cewilson,
The trip is mainly about filming trains going through the mountains and working hard on the grades,Dazza posted a pic of his mates out-door setting covered in snow, and since I've never seen it,I'm hoping I might get lucky.I have friends in Junee and they say it's getting a bit chilly now!
