I occasionally park over the river under the State Library and walk across Kurilpa bridge. Part of the library car park is 2.3 - 2.4m. Also it is only $15 all day flat rate.

State Library is definitely the go. I have racks and on my defender which brings the height to just under 2.2 and I fit under there comfortably. Mind you the first time I was very cautious.

I use piece of yellow tape on my CB aerial to help indicate if I'm going to fit under low structures as I don't trust the signs

Mate, if your wallet can fit in the carpark your Defender will have no trouble.

Brisbane city parking rates are completely outrageous particularly short stay (anything under a full day of earlybird)

If I have to go into town I park somewhere on a bus route and bus it in, its so much easier and cheaper.

If you must though, this site lists a lot of of the stations and their rates and their max height.
