The bloke from Noble Park would presumably have been prepared to carry home a deer, but couldn't bring home more than the tail of the panther he shot? His is one of the least credible big-cat stories.
Interestingly though, all of the (admittedly few) feral cats that I've seen have been on the small side compared to the average domestic moggy.
