    Break and enter......again

Following on from last week's effort http://www.aulro.com/afvb/general-ch...eak-enter.html

they've come back again today. Ransacked the house, stolen Matt's birthday present (PS3), the cash he got and some unopened cards. Waiting until the police have been before looking to see what else they got.

    What can I say.....................

These people know you and are likely living close by in your neighbourhood! Close enough to watch your comings and goings.

Or they think that you had enough time to go out and buy replacements with your insurance money.

How old are your kids, and would you suspect some of the kids they know at school?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

There are plenty of things you could say but with the swear filter all we would see is
    ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ****************

    I am with Vlad.

Mate, take care of the family. Its hard to loose the possetions, but they are replaceable.

You, the Mrs & the kids are all going to be a little more on edge now, especially when you come home.

Ask the police for extra patrols, and maybe start looking for some time away from home for the family.

Just watch out for yourself, and them, as the mental scars can penetrate deeper than maybe you first think.

Once is bad enough but twice is just such a kick in the guts.

I would set up security cameras and stuff, and it is just plain wrong that you should need those in your own home. Let alone the expense and inconvenience...

Booby traps would be cheaper and more fun haha, but then they could sue you, how wrong is that...

    DOGS.

Been a bit busy and haven't spoken to my neighbour. I hope the security system you were getting on Monday wasn't from him then.
Obviously you're being targeted, I hope they get them very soon.

Police came last night and were great as expected. Hopefully this time we'll get some fingerprints or some such. Scenes of crime guys called last night to say they'd be here first thing today. A sleepless night (again) last night jumping at every noise imagined and real.

Security system being installed on Saturday (not your neighbour Kenley). The horse has bolted I know but it'll put the families minds at rest. No expense spared, sms alerts to me, etc.

One lesson learned yesterday was (on advice after last week's events) we've taken to locking the external doors including the internal door to the garage and hiding the keys. Yesterday they came through a very small window (300 x 400) and had to exist the same way. This probably explains why the new TV is still here and out one remaining PC.

Other than the security and screen and window there's no damage, malicious or otherwise, which makes it look like a professional job.

I cannot put into words how I feel about these people

Mate, that is pretty sad, and I know exactly how you feel!
Before i moved to Aus my security system was a .357magnum with a 6" barrel and hollowpoints, but for this to happen in suburbia anywhere just sucks.
Comments about chlorine and gene pool come to mind.....
I sincerely hope that was the last worry for you guys.
Time to take the D4 bush to relax a little???
