Thread: Honour amongst thieves?

Hi V8Ian and according to tonight’s news, after leaving the accident, the driver went to the home of one of his dead mates, stole his dead mates car, returned to the accident and retrieved stolen goods from the wreck and took off.

With mates like that, who needs enemies?

I saw that Drivesafe, what a callous vulture. The cops reckon he's got internal injuries and is being hidden by 'mates'. I hope he's in excruciating agony.

Well at least it is 2 oxygen thieves less. And that is as nice as I can get for them.

the parents, brothers sisters friends and so forth of these dead idiots are probably good people and now they will be going through hell. Not to mention the emergency services personnel who had to attend, assess and recover the scene and the bodies from the scene.....

I truely hope he is caught soon and that he is charged with every little thing they can find...

wonder how much the local crime stats will drop now....

I don't know Digger, if these kids were bought up in an enviroment that demonstrated right from wrong, why do they turn like that? I'm proud of my kids, never been in trouble and each have a sense of justice and compassion. We had neighbours who fought and defended their kids to teachers, neighbours and later coppers. All they ever learnt was that they could do whatever they wanted, then considered the world to be picking on them.

I hear you, but have met quite a few people in the past 25 years who are good, salt of the earth people who didnt 'spare the rod' but still ended up with drug or grog buggered kids that lead off to theft etc etc...

Whats worse is they are then embarrased when they see me in the street later (working or not- country towns remember!) and dont feel they can talk to me because I may have the 'craps' with them!! (nothing further from the truth I realise they're trying but after a certain age if Jr wants to be a dickhead then he will race down that path!) Even though they are embarrased by their kid's behaviour they do still love them and would be devestated by their loss.

As I said there is still that strong first feeling though,.... 1 to go..!!!

the bloke who runs after his mates die is scum....

the bloke who does that and then steals old mate car (whom he has just killed!) is dead set crap, sort of not worth extinguishing with urine if on fire.

the bloke who kills his mates, steals one of their cars and returns to take stolen "booty" from the car where his freshly dead still warm mates bodies are is below any type of contempt......I cannot think of a low enough thing to say about him... (but I hope it haunts him mercilessly!)


I strongly assume that the gear was taken and traded/sold for drugs...

Sorry digger I just can’t agree mate.

I live a couple of suburbs away from where this happened and many may remember the problems I and my neighbours went through a while back.

Even when the police had video evidence of the criminal behaviour their children, the parents actually tried to complain to the police because someone had taken videos of their precious darlings and couldn’t give a damn about what the videos showed.

As far as I’m concerned, this is self imposed crim culling and there should be more of it.
