Just got back from lake Eyre all very good and just wanted to thank members of this forum who suggested bypassing Marree and going on to camp at Farina which we thought was a great spot and even went on a tag along with station owner which was great. So Thanks All...

So there was plenty of water?
We are heading out there next week, leaving Melbourne on Friday. We have booked a flight over the lake from William creek which should be good.
was there last October as the water was dropping fast - I hear it is filling up yet again. Love to see some pics too.
Flew over it on Sunday, albeit at 35000 ft, on my fortnightly sightseeing tripand yes there's still plenty of water in it and some flows still going in.
There's still a lot of water over a lot of western NSW too.
