    Lake Eyre

Just got back from lake Eyre all very good and just wanted to thank members of this forum who suggested bypassing Marree and going on to camp at Farina which we thought was a great spot and even went on a tag along with station owner which was great. So Thanks All...

So there was plenty of water?

We are heading out there next week, leaving Melbourne on Friday. We have booked a flight over the lake from William creek which should be good.

Flew over it on Sunday, albeit at 35000 ft, on my fortnightly sightseeing trip and yes there's still plenty of water in it and some flows still going in.

There's still a lot of water over a lot of western NSW too.

Nope! I rather suspect that it just a naturally occurring cycle..which the Pollies on both sides of the ditch have seized on to attempt to tax us out of existence

Wrighty spends more time flying a desk , hes bought up a couple of minor flying operations and has a crew of junior commercial pilots doing most of the flying. Couple of them are quite attractive too.
