    Feel absolutely free to correct me (but flamage from anyone will result in injury) but isn't AJAX based in reducing loads by selectivly refreshing only page areas required? Or is my understanding limited due to the fact it's only been explained and not practised?

    yeah it is supposed to, but it can cause issues, which is why i have it off, to see if anything alters..

    database config was looked at by a pro this afternoon and he altered two things but said i had it pretty dam close the way it was so there wont be much of an improvement but it might aid reliability, so we will see :P
