    It never rains but it pours!

    Last week my 84yo dad fell off a 10ft ladder and has injured his C spine. The week since has been a lot of worry and negotiations with surgeons. Tomorrows surgery was scheduled and then cancelled because of an infection that he didn't have before the injury.

    This evening after returning from the hospital 90Km away from the farm, my 79yo mum tripped and fell and now has a fractured skull and sub-dural haemorrhage so is being retrieved 160km to Sydney to a different hospital to that of my dad or my work.

    You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    Strewth thats terrible.

    I hope that both recover quickly and without too many complications or too much pain!

    My thoughts and prayers are with them, its always hard at that age!
    Hang in there mate, its got to get better!

    I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

    Diana - I am very sorry to hear that - my brothers and I had to take all the ladders away from my 83yo mum because she was always climbing the things. She recently fell of a two rung step ladder and did some major damage.
