we have had this discussion before...
to my mind, more chance of a supplier being good value if they have numerous recommendations. sure it might not lead to everyone having the same 100% experience but it has to help, surely.
nobody can be everything to everybody and (un)common sense should tell anyone that any recommendations garnered from any source other than your own experience are always going to be somewhat speculative.
and some people have unrealistic expectations
it is the old buyer beware story....

I appreciate the resultant replies to what I said and I believe the innocent parties in this case Inc and his moderaters who do a brilliant job here should have a safety net, but I find it so infuriating that a liar, a cheat, a thief, or even a sexual offender can be protected but the affected party in nearly every instance has an uphill battle to even get himself heard. I stand by my comment and am a great supporter of Derryn Hinch. I would share a prison cell with him for the same reason while the scum walk free.
How did we get from a complaint about high prices to outing sex offenders and sharing a prison cell with derryn hinch? Did I miss something?
I think most on here are good at giving clear advice to others without it descending into mud slinging.

AND, regarding high or inconsistent pricing, try shopping around a little to see what happens, some suppliers can't offer the same prices as they had before due to new stock at a higher price etc etc. In the end it isn't up to THEM to make everyone happy, they are advertising a service/ part, if the price is higher than elsewhere then the customer has a choice not to buy there, not complain to the enth degree about it. I'm sure the supplier will get the message soon enough. Or not.
I am trying my best to suport local companies/ suppliers but I have a business to run too, and margins are getting slimmer everyday out there when you take all the taxes and transport etc etc into account before I even get to see the part

Feel free to do whatever naming and shaming you want to do.
For reasons that have been explained at length on a number of occasions, just make sure you do it in a way that ensures that if it all blows up in your face, it is you that has to accept the consequences rather than incisor or AULRO.
