You lucky bugger.
Glad you had a great time Mary
Arrived home from the trip of a lifetime for me.We live in such a great diverse counrty .Only when you get out there do you grasp the full extent of the changes in vegetation, ecosystems etc
We did the AB(shocker wrecker)and the CSR
The flowers and bird life were magnificant and the sandhill country just beautiful.
Before someone demands Pics I was solo driver so only pics available are stills and not pro might get some up later
My defer was the no 1 conversion done by Mulgo .It has now endured the very worst conditions our country can dish out in fine style.I was set up quickly each night anf best of all the was absolutely no dust into my bedding area. The usual dust filltered into the cabin but able to sleep in an airy dust free environment was a special treat in that remote area.
It was just great to be out there,
Cheers,
Mary

Glad to hear of your trip and sounded trouble free and enjoyable..
When we were on the CSR I was surprised by the amount of different colours there were in the desert shrubs..Also how the northern section was like a lunar landscape with the fire that had gone thru sometime previous to our trip.
The Anne Beadell is the next on the list..
Cheers Ean
Mary when we spoke the other night it did sound like a terrific trip..looking forward to seeing you again, when we go the the 10th/65th blinman/Land Rover gathering...and many other S.A./Vic's as well as well

Glad your back safe and sound Mary. Sounds like the 110 behaved itself and performed well - did you kill any of your shocks on the Anne Beadell? Did anyone else have any vehicle problems on the trip?
Despite Ian and I waiting a while at many stop-overs and extended waits at Laverton, Wiluna, Well 23 and Wolfe Creek we never did manage to catch up again, shame.
What date did you guys get to Well 23 (Fuel Dump)? We arrived in the afternoon of the day before the 'itinery suggested date' and left late in the afternoon on the day we were supposed to be there (19th from memory), without any fuel. Fortunately we had enough to get to the community at Well 33 so we filled up there.
Fantastic trip though, as you say SO much wildlife, fantastic skies, colours etc etc. Amazing.

Hi Jon,
Yes the Ab did kill one of my ride pro rear shocks after about 300 k's.To be fair they were 2 yrs old and probably should have replaced spares got me through an replaced atLeinster My other ride pro supported a D1 whose brand new OMEmu snapped at the top bracket.
Pretty positive I saw you dissapearing north out of Laverton as was heading up to refuel-you had a good supply of firewood on the roof rack.Tried to call you on uhf but no reply. We then had a days rest and fit shocks/washing etc at Leinster before heading off.You message to Dave was not clear so we did not know your movements. We arrived at the fuel dump on 24 th as the delivery had been delayed due to rain so no rush-fuel only arrived the day before .A couple of travellers behind us were most appreciative of the free fuel we had to leave behind and thanked us very much.Great Pr for LRRSA
Only 1 flat tyre amongst te group but the Freelander who joined us at Leinster after performing remarkably well despite the clearance issues died of fuel pump failure about 200ks from end of trak.G4 towed all the way to Billiluna when trucked out to Broome.
I was very happy with the Defer However post trip repairs will include steering arm ball joint and panhard rod bushes. Will replace all 4 ball joints anyway.
Great fun and fantasic country out there especially with all the flowers andbirdlife. Will catch up sometime.
Did you have any shocker issues or other problems?
