Greetings all. I am back home after 12 weeks in the USA. Got around 2000 photos and a number of videos to download and resize. Don't hold your breath waiting as these will take some time. I will post interesting stuff as it is available.
I went to the Harry A. Miller Club annual vintage race car weekend at Milwaukee Mile and visited a heap of auto museums and restoration shops.
Many of these collectors and vintage racers have spent staggering sums on their toys. Even the transporters boggle the mind particularly when you consider these are hobbyists, not professional race teams.
A few yanks now know it is unwise to engage in prolonged beer sessions with Australians.

Welcome home. Looking forward to some pics (and stories)
Well done for upholding an Australian tradition and maintaining our honour Brian! It's a shame you had to consume that American goat water to do it though.
welcome back, you lost two days while you were away,,,,feel younger?
I tried to keep away from the mainstream beers from the big brewers. These are about as tasty as VB and Fosters, no taste at all, like the customers. There are a lot of small independent brewers who are doing a good job. I do find their interpretation of an India Pale Ale to be a bit too heavily hopped for my taste. Good ones are Sierra Nevada, Boulevarde, Anchor Steam, Samuel Adams, Leinenkugel, Yuengling. The latter two are old established family breweries dating from the early 1800's. I did the tour of Leinenkugel in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Real good stuff, but their draught is not sold widely probably because of limited production.
There is a Fosters made in Georgia by "Oil Can Brewery".

Welcome back, you need to file a notch on your door frame for every American that had to go home after having a quiet beer with you. My personal record is three Americans in one night and that was before I brought out the OP Bundy
