    Lost a good mate today.

I'm devastated. We got a phone call this morning to say my dog Georgie was found on the doorstep of the local Vets, dead in a plastic bag. I've just picked her up. She looks so peaceful. Now to dig a hole in her favorite sunny spot in the garden and lay her to rest, but I'm going to give her one last cuddle.
    See ya Georgie Girl.

I'm so sorry Marcus. That's just awful. Simon's old border collie (funnily enough named Georgie, too) passed last year - it's such a terrible thing. I still think of her often and it's been well over 12 months. There's just a bit of a void. Do you know what happened? I'm glad that at least she came back to you so you could give her a place where she'll be remembered.

Always sad to hear of this happening..Sorry to hear of the loss of your good friend Hymie.

Atleast you have her so she can be layed to rest in a place in your garden where she is close by.

    Cheers Ean

Very sad, I had a Maltise that died very young about 10 years ago and I still cannot look at one for more than a few seconds without turning to mush. Sorry for your loss.

    Thanks all for your thoughts.
We can't say what happened to her, there are no obvious injuries, the Vet couldn't say.
I must have looked a sight last night cradling her and bawling my eyes out, big softy me.
