Hi Locky. i have three rug rats plus a few mates to tow about and my habit of some fairly tough steep and slippery off road trips put me off a new car. Watched the auctions for several months until a non modified Disco 3 came up. I have put a bit of extra kit but it is the best by far for my use. With 7 seats frequently occupied it is better than great as unlike all the competing 7 seaters the 2 back seat comfortably cope with a adult with out putting their knees up with their ears that several other do.

A d4 is an option I do not like as the 19inch tyres really cramp rubber options now matter how many claim otherwise I just picked up 17 inch to get out of my 18s. even with my winch I find the 18s a bit soft.

Good luck with your research. Take a few options for a spin and I think you would be hard pushed to go the farm like attitude of most other options.
