Sarah, I am deeply sorry for your loss. Although we have never met, I feel (as I am sure all here do) you are a part of the AULRO extended family. Please let any of us know if we can do anything for you.

You are so right, suicide is never an option, and there is always help available for anyone contemplating this destructive act by calling Lifeline on 13 11 14 24hrs a day 7 days a week. Speaking from experience, counselling is essential after the death of a family member, if you are finding it hard to come to terms with this tragedy (feeling of disbelief, feeling numb/detached emotionally) give Lifeline a call 13 11 14 and speak to one of their trained counsellors, they do a great job, and speaking to a counsellor will help immensely through this difficult time.

Once again, please accept my sincerest condolences.

    AJ

Someone who knows just how close and caring most members of this forum really are. Any post you get here will be from those who care, who you can rely on for help during this terrible time, and those who WILL lend you a shoulder of support and sympathy.

Sarah, this is most terrible news. You and I have had a few PM's over these pages regarding this particular matter, and I hope you know that I feel some of your pain. If there is ANYTHING that I can do, please hollar? Not sure how or what I could do, but please know that I, as well as others here, will do all they can.

Such tragic news. My thoughts and wishes are with you right now.

    RIP Simon.

Unfortunately, evidently, it is. And all too common a practice now-a-days.
The need for "help" by people suffereing depression etc is more so now than ever before, with the ever increasing pressures of life.

I echo the same advice as most, if YOU'RE in a situation where things look bleak.....please PLEASE speak to someone.
Thats ALL it takes to help get your mindset back in line. From one who's experienced these things first hand (and continues to), please heed.....
