    Hi Sprint

    I find with a good coat of silicon based polish, the scratches don't occurr as quickly and the mud is a lot easier to hose off, so its money well spent as it saves time, when you need to give it a spruce up.

    That is a dangerous site. I'd come across it when I first got my D2 and ended up spending hours (a couple of days if truth be told) claying, cleansing, polishing and waxing. I didn't go as far as getting a buffer however. Looked fantastic if you didn't get too close.

    Problem is that you have repeat the whole process every 2-3 months to keep the water beading like that.
