When i first moved into my current house, my neighbours informed me of a resident koala. Took almost 2 years for the fuzzy critter to show up but when he did it was so exciting to see my first koala in the wild

Hmmm I like koala`s, but I can`t eat a whole one. Any way we too have a bit of wild life around. Eastern grey Kangaroos are around, have seen a echidna around and the usual possums. Brother once put a toy Koala in a tree in his back yard. Then took some photos of us next to it , clearly showing it was in his back yard. The photo`s were then sent to our Pomy brother in-laws family back in England. Just don`t know how those misconceptions about Australia get started.

When I got home from work tonight I was playing with my daughter who produced a stuffed koala and said she was going to eat him. I said " You can't eat a koala" and Miss 4 said quiet sincerely "you can if you cook it!"

did you hear about that bloke that, was standing in front of the judge and he says why on earth did you eat that koala they are a protected species, the man told a sad story about having to feed his family and how times are really hard, the judge feels sorry for him after hearing this and he says all right this will just be a warning no gaol time, but answer me this what did it taste like? The man replied, little bit like echidna, kinda like penguin.
