ex Army Defender
Hi all,
I see there are a few ex army 110 defenders at auction in a couple of weeks, does anyone know if/how you go about registering them as private vehicle.
Also how much does anyone think they'll go for?
My mind is thinking extra cab ute chop, mustn't tell the mrs!

There are several posts already on these. They are TD5 (B-fleet) models. So they are basically the same as civvie Td5s.
Note that there are plenty of perenties (the real military landies) already registered and in civvie hands - they have compliance plates, so can be registered.

The current price guestimates vary from $17000 to $27000 but there seems to be a lot of interest.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Went out to auction place today for a look, there was a defence motorcycle auction on too.
i've never seen so many people at an auction, and correspondingly the prices the bikes & quads went for was ridiculous!
Have given up on ex army defender for now, will just keep my eye out for a nice 110 or 130 tray back ute
