If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Driving the road to Licola, you hear the logging trucks "call" bridges, tight corners, narrow sections etc. I like to listen, it really helps avoid surprises around those tight corners. The trucks will also indicate other vehicles that may be relevant.
Glad to see your ok Inc and, yes, idiots come in all shapes and sizes, but in my experience Truckies are slandered nearly as much as us "bush bashers".
(Note sarcasm in the term bush bash - which I hate)

I watched that episode of Ice road truckers as well, your right the blokes were real cowboys, from Texas. For it to happen in Aus is crap, the cops and RTA inspectors would be all over them. Also how many caravans do you see travelling at night when the semi's travel? Most caravan towing happens during the daylight hours due to the drivers suffering from Nyctalopia.
Your argument must be very flimsy to have to keep resorting to personal attacks. How much experience do yo have with the transport industry? Would you know a Roadranger from a Rockwell?
I have over 7,000,000 kilometres and thirty years experience in the industry, and I admit there are the occasional idiots in trucks, but they don't last long. However, idiots in cars are far more abundant and keep on keeping on.

As a transport industry employee of 11years, I have never heard any of my workmates call a bridge.
