It just so happens that I have spent 20 of my 45 year working life as a heavy vehicle mechanic rebuilding truck transmissions and differentials among other things Can rebuild your Roadrangers and Rockwells blindfolded. As a consequence I've met alot of truckies over the years, some who have become personal friends. I know the mixed types that are out there, most are hard working safety concious ok blokes and some are cowboys that should be put off the road for life . I hate getting into arguments with the likes of you who are attempting to defend the indefensible, especially when it relates to road safety.
Wagoo.
There are some roads in Nth Qld that have official call points. I can remember truckies calling "call point1 " etc etc up to 5 . I cannot remember the road it was on but it was narrow and winding and there were Dept Transport type signs. I think it was the Charters Towers Road north to Atherton but not sure or could have been around Mt Molloy.

there is no way the clown should have been doing well over 100kph down a hill heading towards a give way sign on a narrow one lane bridge with low visibility to the entry in a b-double stock crate. dam sure the bridge weight limit would have been dubious as well but don't know for sure.

From my experience since being over here, some Aussie truck drivers are absolutely mad. When I am travelling at over the legal speed limit (only just) overtaking someone in the inside lane and I get a truck sitting 5 inches off my back bumper then he is a looney driving in a criminal manner, with no thought or care for other road drivers
This has happened on numerous occasions.

Isn't it against the road rules to overtake on the inside, or were you just trying to get out of the way of the truck? I have seen some insane driving on the F3 by truck drivers, including what happened to you. I regularly see B doubles in all three lanes at the same time.
I now just stay out of their way and often just follow the normal truck drivers as they always sit on a good speed. There is a huge number of good proffessional trucks drivers out there. It is a shame that a few idiots are going out of their way to not share the road.
My solution is to get more freight onto a dedicated rail network.
