Glad you are O.K. too. The outage was a good excuse to go out and do some work on the buggy, the SIII FFR, the Haulmark trailer and the SIIB!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Good to hear that you are alright. The roads aren't what can be considered a safe place these days.
As for the website, you don't run it on a server made by Lucas, do you ?
    Cheers

There are people who spend all weekend cleaning the car.
And there are people who drive Discovery.

Doubt it; In the 10 years or so Aulro has been around I don't think it has been 'down' to many times (unless deliberately) - far more reliable than anything made by the 'prince of darkness'

Also glad to hear that you are ok. I do despair after recently overhearing a group of truck and Semi trailer drivers talk amongst themselves in a highway cafe about what they term ''calling a bridge'' or words to that affect. which basically means that on a downhill run approaching a bridge, they are travelling too fast to stop, slow down or take evasive action should another vehicle apprach the bridge at the same time, so they alert other truck drivers on the CB radio. Of course not every truck driver is a cowboy, but you only need one to ruin your day, so be very careful out there folks.

What a load of crap, "calling the bridge" is done when there is insufficient width for two trucks to pass safely, the drivers will adjust their speed so they don't pass on the bridge.
Rubbish espoused by people who don't have a clue keeps this sort of guff snowballing and scaring fools. It sells papers and increases TV ratings though.
The heavy vehicle sector has a much better safety record than the rest of the motoring population.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

And Yobbo you thickhead, what happens when some innocent motorist who may be towing a caravan and who is not in CB contact with the truck happens on the bridge?
    Wagoo.

Innocent motorists don't tow caravans, old folk and dickhead do, the rest of us either motel or swag it. To think they spend up to $200000 on a tow vehicle and caravan and are too tight to pay a couple of hundred on essential comms is just proving my point.
