I think you need to have a look at your setup settings.

Hi All.
I am a recent Landrover Discovery 2 owner and a very recent subscriber to AULRO. This has probably been raised before, but is it just me or do others find it strange that when someone starts a thread, the original post and subsequent posts get pushed down with the latest post/reply appearing at the top of page 1?
Most other forums keep the original post at the top with all other posts/replies following on from that. E.g. if I start a thread on another forum then my post stays at the top, and if there are 20 or 30 replies, the latest post/reply may end up on page 2 or 3. On the AULRO forum, however, after 20 or 30 posts, the original post ends up on page 2 or 3 with the latest post/reply ending up on the top of page 1.
Is there perhaps another way or an option to change it around from my end. If I am searching for a topic I find it very strange having to go to the last page to read the 1st post and then go backwards to read the more recent posts/replies.
Have a great weekend.

Scroll down a bit & you'll see a "thread display" section.
Hopefully that should be it.

Hi garrycol, scouse and 999,
Thank you for the prompt replies. I have gone in and changed my settings now. Makes for more enjoyable reading. I wasn't aware that you could change the settings.
Regards,
Peter
I have my settings as yours originally were. I find it heaps easier to look at where a thread is at, as I don't have to click on the page number, or scroll to the end of the page to see what someone has written. One click and you see the last post...
Each to there own. Oh, by the way - welcome to the Forum.![]()
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
