    O what a rip off!

Have just replaced the oil filter adapter on my td5. Rang around trying to get a new one. Believe it or not none in Australia!!! Tried a second hand one that ended up being U.S. as it was fractured next to the single bolt hole.
Went on the net and found one in the U.K. Ordered it and was delivered to me on the 5th day. Five days on my doorstep. Iwas quoted a minium of two weeks by LR and another importer. Cost: $128.00 round figures, that included being delivered by express freight.
The cost over here was over $200.00.
Guess where my parts will be coming from in future.

To put things in perspective. The WJ Jeep or Commander lower front balljoints, are only available as part of the full lower arm assembly. Try $1800.00 each ex Jeep. That's one expensive ball joint !!
