Mm disagree about the bull bar

Wheel protruding, yeah agree with that can't be sticking outside the car. But wider wheel arches solve that

I'm pretty sure that bullbars (and other "frontal protection" bars) were banned from the year I left the UK, back in 2007.

I think the law didn't apply retrospectively, so any vehicles with one fitted at the point the law was introduced didn't have to have them removed. Try proving the bullbar fitting date to the relevant authorities on a vehicle you've just imported from the other side of the world......

Alright , the Emails are coming in , first an SMS asking me to not reply via SMS and please reply via a "said" Email address included in the original SMS , and then the "So call Interested buyer" is replying to my email and asking me what my Asking price is for the vehicle ?Just for my own reference is the advertised price different to the asking price ? I must be a total Novice thanks for all your replies btw. I have since removed the ad from Gumtree.

    this is his reply

    hello,

Thanks for the response,i will like to make offering of $xxxx AUD so that we can close the sales and have the transaction ...kindly get back to me with your Paypal Payment information so that i can go ahead with the payment which i will including PayPal surcharges since i am interested in the immediate purchase.I want the vehicle to be ship to London, where this is needed and i will be making use of a shipping company to have this picked up from you and have it delivered to me when i get back to England,i am presently on official duty in Ohio USA,.Further arrangements will be made with you in regards to the pick up once i have paid you.

I don't have an active paypal account , I know that it is probably easy to set one up.however I'm rather adament not to provide my paypal information to someone who I don't even know is genuine about the purchase of my vehicle . let me know what your thoughts are ??

Hi Tom , I haven't replied to any of the emails that seems to have the format of " what's your asking price " ? in the body of the emails who originated from an SMS initially .I have since removed the ad from Gumtree , but on a positive note I did recieve an Email from an old club member via Gumtree who purchased him self an old 82 4-door rangie but may be looking to upgrade.
