Well you could look at the use of it in Amsterdam. Is it a addictive drug? No nothing Like cigarettes are, plus if you don't smoke it you could make a cake from it, or tea. It's good also for a number of medical conditions, ie pain control and the treatment of MS.

It is also available on licence prescription in a number of country's , and they have been numerous human clinical trials into its usage in humans.

Yeah totally agree, the only way its addictive is that people have had such a good time with it with no negative back draws that they see no reaosn to stop.

Well for starters........................I miss it . Used to smoke pot and hashish in my 20's. Like anything can be excessive or not. I went through an excessive stage at one point...ie was growing it....bucket bongs every arvo/ evening after work........it had an effect on my personal life. Once I switched back to weekends/ monthly was fine. Haven't pulled a cone or had a dooby in around 10- 12 years. Having been a smoker.....pot is the lesser of 2 "evils" in my book,

    Regards

    Makes nice rope.
I had a T-shirt made from cannabis. It was a really comfortable T-shirt. The material was like a fine hessian.

Yeah Im thinking of quitting. I think having it only on special occasions is a good idea. I've never smoked a cigarette in my life.

Generalising on the issue, cannibis makes irrattic, paranoid people who lack the ability to motivate themselves and identify appropriate priorities. These aspects are exacerbated by alcohol use.

Outside, gammahydroxybutyrate ( GHB ), some of the biggest medical problems I had to deal when organising the medical rooms of large rave parties (8,000+ patrons), were patrons who had consumed a concoction of cannabis, alcohol and amphetamines. Give me someone tripping on LSD or hallucinating on ecstasy any day.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    What do I think...

I think that its terrible seeing friends get on it and it destroy who they are physically, within their lives and by turning their minds into mush, something that they cant see or want enough to change.

I recally my mother coming home from work (she runs a hospital) where they were looking at research that showed a very strong link between cancer and the use of MJ, even for recreational users. No doubt some will deny this, but then again there are still some that deny the link between smoking and cancer also because Aunty Maude never got it and smoked 5 packs a day since she was 2.
