Freight is the killer for me, I would rather pay the Aussie price, Regards Frank.

There's someone posting on here who might be able to help, Terrain Vehicles I think they post under, might be worth dropping them a message to see if they can assist ? I know DLS LR Spares ship to Aus as well, I've had stuff off them for my RRS. Not affiliated to either by the way.

Other options out of the UK are:

    Craddocks
Land Rover direct (difficult to navigate but get the part number from Paddocks)
    TD5 Alive
    QT
    Terrain Vehicles
And of course Ebay UK. Most LR parts vendors on ebay will post OS.

Land Rover International and Land Rover Monthly mags have heaps of adverts for parts vendors. Also a good read while the wife watches Sex in the City (for the 12th time).

I agree with the criticisms levelled at the quality of Britpart.

What really surprises me is when you order OEM parts from UK, and they arrive packed in a britpart bag with the ext "OEM", so LR is using them to source factory parts.

I do not imagine myself throwing 100 grands in a RR made of britpart bits.

I cannot tell you much about freight costs to Oz, but is there a possibility of some of you making a purchase together and sharing the shipping costs?
As for the quality of B-P stuff, it varies, in my experience. Some items I will never buy again from them, others are OEM, and the springs I bought for my Disco (heavily discounted at a clearing sale) have proven themselves over the years and have received a "pass".

Another site to consider is Island 4x4.

They just got some gear to me in Melbourne in 6 days, their communication was great and their prices are very competitive too.

Well worth talking to them. They sent me two big packages, one with a suspension kit (4 shocks and springs) and one with a radiator.
