Drivesafe, perhaps you and Incisor should talk about having a link on your page (perhaps all the vendors here).
Incisor, maybe a discount on subscribership for all who link here?
Google sent me here when I had dramas with my D2.
Dave.
Based on some recent posts, they also seem to think that LR's current offerings do not include freelanders or defenders, LR did not exist prior to 2007 and that the only forum on AULRO is the D3/4 section
Seriously though, a link on the traxide site sounds like a good idea. I would be happy to put aulro cards/flyers on vehicles.
For some time I've baulked at putting AULRO stickers on the front and rear windscreens. The price of the originals is good but don't think the picture is suitable for attracting interest from owners of non-series/Defender LRs, the modern one doesn't appeal and is deeper than I would like anyway and the forum ones seem expensive especially when wanting 2. I'll probably get 1 forum sticker and only do half a job.

I think we need to recruit some more old Landy owners to this site.
There are many Land rover nuts out there who are 'technologically challenged' or do not have 'too much spare time on their hands'.
We could put flyers in the show bags at the LROC / RRC Expo this year?
5 years ago I bought a D2 for all the right reasons and quickly realised it had 'history'...typed in land rover forum on Google and there you go. I found a lot of information and after solving a few problems became a paid up member, in part to show gratitude. Since then, I've had a friends covert into Discoveries but not all are mechanically minded or forum minded – but they have all bought a lot of 4x4 and camping gear. I recently bought AULRO stickers...the original kind. One for the D2 and one for the defender. While I've not met other members I feel part of a like minded community and that in balance led to the buying of the defender (I identified with the brand), so in my mind LR should also show gratitude to AULRO.

I usually palm off one of the SWMBOs business card with my details and AULRO.com as the site.
It'd be great if people could email in to something like incisor@aulro.com.au to get a PM in

If you've benefited from one or more of my posts please remember, your taxes paid for my skill sets, I'm just trying to make sure you get your monies worth.
If you think you're in front on the deal, pay it forwards.
I've had a Landrover since 1992. I had no idea this site existed. Wasn't much of a web surfer.
Stumbled across this site whilst searching for 101 parts.
Very soon after I found the second 101 thanks to this site.
"Build it and they will come."
Well, it's built and they're coming.
I keep on seeing new member introductions from all over the world, all over the solar system.
It appears to me this is the biggest Landrover site in the multiverse.
The computer literate will find us eventually.
I guess we'd need to get the OK from Inc. but business cards like the one below but with AULRO Logo and web address plus a short blurb about the site could be obtained from Vistaprint free (except for delivery of about $7.50 and initial Logo uploading of $5) in lots of 250 or sometimes 500.
I'm not sure of the legalities of slipping one of these in the drivers side window of Land Rover owners/drivers and this would probably vary from state to state. After all we would not be selling anything, and would not be obstructing vision by placing them under wiper blades.
They're also easy to carry a few in your wallet so they're always available and a good idea to hand to someone you tell about AULRO as they'll probably pull it out of their pocket when they get home and log on for a bit of a look around.
Just a thought which for the sake of uniformity would need to be distributed/bought through the AULRO Shop - or maybe even distributed to 'subscribers' in batches of say 50 cards.

I have a vague memory that just such a "card" was proposed once and possibly even a template provided. Maybe it was in one of the old AULRO mahttp://www.aulro.com/afvb/local_links.php?catid=6gazines? Hmmmmm.
