A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
Safe trip.

Slight problem has developed - the pivot bolt for the alternator on the Isuzu has disappeared - can someone please measure and post the dimensions, please.

I don't have enough tools to remove and measure at the moment but the heads are 17mm on both nut and bolt. If nobody else kicks in first when I get home in about an hour i'll get it out and measure it up.
Replaced the alternator bolts, now in Caboolture, leaving Sunday or Monday, depending on what roads are above water by then!

If you're still heading towards Yass I would avoid western Sydney and instead travel inland - but there is some flooding through the Central West as well. The Lachlan Valley Way is closed.
On the Olympic Way, Bendick Murrell bridge is washed out, so if it was me I'd pick my way down through Oberon - Crookwell to Yass (all sealed).

PM me for my tel no if you think you might need it (I'm near the NE Hwy if you're using that)
